Owner and chef, Mr. Singh brings over Twenty-five years of experience as a chef to the menu. Succulent dishes are marinated and cooked in a charcoal tandoor. On the menu are favorites such as Butter chicken. Pearl special Chicken. Lamb kadai , and Chicken Handi - sliced chicken cooked with tomatoes, onion, cream, fresh coriander and thick gravy. The Pearl Special Chicken is Mr. Singh signature dish, cooked and finished with freshly ground herbs and spices. Indian Pearl specializes in Northern Indian cuisine, everything you would expect in an Indian food restaurant and more.
Harking back to Singh own roots in North India and is well known for its authentic curries and freshly baked naan. There are lamb and seafood mains, and vegetarian and gluten free meals. All the mains are cooked mild, medium, or hot to suit tastes. The wine list is packed with New Zealand wines, or if preferred, you can BYO wine.
